2026 LITF: 40 YEARS OF TRADE, GROWTH AND GLOBAL CONNECTION

Global trade patterns are reconfiguring, and more shifts are occurring which compel businesses organizations to be aware of the potential trade-offs. In the business world, global connections refer to the complex, interdependent networks of trade, communication, culture, and technology that link people and organizations across national borders. These interactions facilitate the movement of goods, capital, and ideas, creating a “borderless world” where nations are economically and socially intertwined.  This is exactly what the Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) has done for four decades, which climaxes in 2026. It has been such a consistent business event that has been bringing people of all shades and colours together over the years to connect in Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria.

It is amazing to know that for four decades, this premier platform for business exchanges has been the nexus of trade, growth, and global connection as it brings the whole world to Nigeria every November.  This is why we shall be rolling out drums to celebrate this important business connection that holds for 10 days of which there is none other in sub-Saharan Africa. The Fair, this year, will witness mind-blowing events that will bring the past to the present with a focus on the future of Africa trade.  The celebration will cut across cultural orientation, exchange of ideas, business connection, showcasing budding entrepreneurship, entertainment and expansion to create borderless trade in the six continents.
